davidg posted : the other DSL is not critical, it was used for failover years ago and just basically left in place because the 3rd party ISP is also our webhost and takes care of our DNS. I just don't want to screw that up! to clarify though, they do not require we use their DSL to continue the other services.

i don't trust the AT&T phone reps to actually know what would happen, as i have seen here too many times where a 2nd dsl at a residence was cut off when U-verse was installed.
--
Lack of Preparation on YOUR Part does NOT Constitute an Emergency on Mine!

Uverse question

davidg posted : In checking AT&T.com i found our office now qualifies for Uverse. I can get 24 meg for the same price we currently pay for 3 meg DSL.

Here is my issue, i have 2 DSL lines. one thru AT&T and one thru a local ISP. These are on 2 different POTS lines here at the office. Is it possible that AT&T will only cut off my DSL that goes thru them and not the 3rd party DSL? If both must go it is not a major deal, but we use the 3rd party DSL as a failover and i would need to plan it out fully before ordering if it would definitely be cut off.
--
Lack of Preparation on YOUR Part does NOT Constitute an Emergency on Mine!
