Re: [AB] Forwarding port to more than one local IP?

It can not be done. Even if it was allowed, it would cause all sorts of problems as you'd have two devices/applications on the network receiving and responding to the same incoming packets.

What is it exactly that you're trying to do?

I tought I remembered setting up multiple IPs with the same ports in Tomato/DD-WRT on my old WRT54GL.

Anyways, I wanted to do this for hosting game servers with outside friends. My brother in the other room (on the same Actiontec) also likes to host game servers for the same games that require the same ports.

Internal port can be the same as long as internal ip is different, external port can not be the same since you only got one external ip.

Many games allow you to manually set a different server port.

You can not host two game servers on the same WAN IP and port. Either the IP or the port needs to be different.
