Sprint Wireless (THE WISP, NOT THE CELL PHONE)A long time ago around 2000-2002 or so. I was living near Chicago, and Sprint was offering a DSL comparison product over wireless, from what I can recall all of it was broadcast from the SEARS TOWER (yes I called it the SEARS TOWER not the Willis tower. Any ways what ever happened to the product and the customers? I know they stopped taking "NEW" customers but for several year later I still saw their diamond antennas on many roof tops. Did they pull the plug? when? Can anyone tell me what that was like? I know they had the product in other cities (I think a few towns AZ had it), can some one speak on this? I went digging through Wikipedia and really didn't understand if it was talking about this division or not. I don't remember what the name of the service was either.
Thank You for anything you share,
