| [Firmware] E4200v2 Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Firmware Upgrade? I noticed that Cisco released Firmware Upgrade Ver.2.1.39. I just checked and mine is 2.0.37. I have "Upgrade Automatically" checked in my Router settings. I don't have Cisco Connect or the Cloud.
Should it just upgrade itself? Has anyone used this firmware version yet?

1 edit | I just tried it then reverted back to 2.0.37 . It looks to me to be an attempt to merge the cloud connect and classic firmware into a single version that offers the ability to choose when you login to the router. I prefer the previous user interface, I am uncertain whether the newer version accesses the cloud for the user interface or not. |

Mine upgraded automatically. I am getting much better download throughput with the new firmware. On Comcast performance package, up from ~17 mbps to over 25. Nice. |

I've not tried it yet but looking for the release notes. I don't see it on the support page. Anyone know where I can find the notes?

| No, the release note has the latest firmware version with the build 144146. The build I see is 145204. |
