Pirates will find away around the 6 strike thing anyway. Except I've had two notices in the past 3 or 4 years (went back, couldn't find the IM record I had with Krispy at the time). I don't use torrents, never have. And it was for a show I've never watched, never downloaded. Actually the 2 notices were almost a year apart and for exactly the same show/episode. I was told someone had the same MAC address on the network as I did. The IP in the notification email wasn't mine though (it almost never changes).
So you may not care now, but you might if you get a notice yourself, depending how your ISP identifies you. |
