I had my ubee put in bridge mode and installed a wireless router behind it to save the monthly. Where the port forwarding of the ubee allowed the Mindcraft traffic through, it doesn't work in this new configuration. The belkin router firewall is off and the traffic is still not getting through. Any ideas?
You either need to go into the Belkin and forward the right port to your PC, and either set the PC to a static IP address, or setup the Belkin to hand out a "reserved" IP to the PC via DHCP (so the address never changes).
I don't remember if Mindcraft can do UPnP - if it can, look for a UPnP option in the Belkin and enable that instead.
mindcraft/minecraft i dont play it, my son does sorry. Yes he is using his CPU as a server. When we used the Ambit wireless it forwarded traffic through to his CPU with the port forwarded. After having TWC turn off the wireless and setting up the Ambit in bridge mode I forwarded the port on the Belkin and it allowed both tcp and udp mode which I set it to. Still no go. I have even put his machine's ip in the DMZ on the Belkin and his friend can't access his game server. I could of course be wrong, but I would think the Ambit is blocking it, but the 3rd level tech I spoke to at TWC said it wouldn't stop any traffic in bridge mode.
