reply to KoRnGtL15 Lets make sure users know that this isn't the old WD,but the new MSE that Microsoft renamed............what an idiotic idea.Confuse users more than they already are with this new OS. --~~Go Lions....back to back Cups!!~~
reply to chachazz I have it running but set to check for updates and choose what I want to install. Like I said though. I want WD to update every 2 hrs if possible some how?
I don't have win8 yet but in win7 you could simply use task scheduler something like this....Run: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Security Essentials\MpCmdRun.exe" -Scan -ScanType 1Start in: "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Security Essentials Which schedules a quick scan, and checks for updates before the scan. change to ScanType 2 for Full scan.looks like -SignatureUpdate is a viable command too
