You really need 1080p on a 10" device? and have much access to that, or apps that are even 720P? As far as I am concerned for 10" 720P is just fine and a lot less battery intensive. You really need to have +20/20 to see a really difference for 2 times the bandwidth (4x SD still HD frame also not horrible) at that scale. But let fanatics be fanatics.
But is 1st gen Jellybean too.
Honestly I thought the Tegra 3 would make more of a difference... but definitely does better doing other things while HS downloading other things (like playing video at same time) than the T2 101 did. (IE demanding multitasking) noticeably better, but thought might be better.
Traded metal frame and plastic case for just the opposite. Some said that compromised the WiFi haven't really noticed that with use in same places and distances.
Much thinner than 101, but actually about the same weight... those wonderfully long lasting batteries, pretty much all day (unless you never sleep) with KB/dock. Oh and should say with dock... mine is two toned... a used grey 201 tab and found much better deal on a new silver (champagne) KB/dock by $50, guess the Champagne tabs didn't sell so well) though have seen them sold of cheap likr the KB's... maybe they just attracted the all we need is tab crowd more.
Camera much better both front and back, and having a flash is great. Though ISO speed rather disappointing even with flash things still need to be pretty still at any distance or blurred.
Most other aspects about the same as 101.
Still most one of the most flexible dynamic, best value Android devices out there IMHO.

Not that your sentence really made much sense. But I say you must be blind not to see the difference between 1080p and 720p at the same display size. -- Argue opinions using facts. On a 10" screen no not really, (especially with the added power cost) Plus there is very little 1080p content (or apps) out there, or having the bandwidth available to support it. Certainly not cell, and stretches many WiFi connections that may be available. Many places I have had to drop back to SD (still HD format) from 720p to avoid buffering, let alone 1080p
On a 30" screen yes its a huge difference. --

 | reply to Hayward Absolute size of the display has no bearing on viability of noticing the difference in resolution.
Relative size means everything. We have our 10" tablets much closer to our eyes than our HDTVs. The difference is even more obvious up close. -- Argue opinions using facts. Not facts using opinions. |

Don't know how much you stick you tablet in your face... but mine is usually the better part of 2ft away.
In fact holding it up at it usual distance the 10 inch screen just about covers my 42" inch TV across the room but the exact same 720p image, looks noticeably better on the tablet just because the relative image pixel dpi is so much higher.
Again the difference on the 42" with 1080p is night and day even across the room.
But I have seen 1080p tablets and switching between 720p and 1080p is marginally noticeable at best by comparison. No where near the huge difference it is on a large screen.
IMHO not really worth the added battery drain and CPU load costs (to be able to do other demanding stuff in the background), and well as added $$ cost.
When they (and most content) are all 1080p, well fine... but right now I'll take hundred or two lower cost, and longer battery life, for the slight improvement.
But then there is still the bandwidth issue on a shared connection for 1080p (I rarely use tablet at home) Plus 1080p takes 4x the storage so even gets problematic for having a lot stored material, until tables start having like 250GB or more. --
