<title>Clarion head unit CD Player repair...</title>

<description><![CDATA[neonhomer posted : For some reason, my mother is partial to Clarion, and I bought her one a few years ago. For the most part, it has worked without issue.<br><br>Well, the other day, she went load a CD, and it won't take the disc. From the sound the unit is making, a gear in the loading mech is broken.<br><br>Is there an availability of parts like this, or it is a "oh well, toss it" deal?<br><br>I'm not sure of the exact model #, but it is about 4-5 years old.<br><br>FWIW, I've always used Sony, and the only problem I ever had was the spring on the cassette door broke, falling down into the unit, and shorting out the amp IC.<br><br>EDIT: It's a DB155<br><br><small>--<br>"F is for Fire that burns down the whole town...<br>U is for Uranium......
