I'm on Dry Loop with MLPPP using a TP-Link TD-8816 without a router.

I'd like to use the Cisco to provide internet to both my desktop and my phone without losing the MLPPP. Can I, or am I confined in my choices of wireless router as I was with the modem? |

You may not have been aware, but Bell is no longer throttling, so MLPPP on a Single link defeats the purpose. You wouldn't need to use MLPPP, simply configure a regular PPPoE setup.
If you have a Static IP, then the $4 would remain, but if you don't, then you can get rid of that $4 charge.

I've just called Teksavvy and cancelled the MLPPP and the static IP with it. Problem solved and I've saved some money. This is turning into a Geico commercial.
Thanks again! |
