[TWC] Two separate wireless networks?

Hey everyone, I'll try to make this as clear as possible. Essentially I have two routers I want to use. I have an old Linksys WRT54GS that is running the DD-WRT firmware, and the wireless cable modem (the motorola surfboard sbg6580). I want to set up two SEPARATE wireless networks but I'm having some issues in doing so.

The reason why I want to do this in the first place, is because I live in Columbus and there is a bunch of interference from other routers around us. I tried setting up the Surfboard router to where it would run on the 5GHz band range, but I found out that some of the devices my roommate and I had (some older devices) won't connect and aren't compatible with it. And since the Surfboard doesn't do simultaneous dual band, that's why I want to use an older router my parents had sitting around. (I'm a college student, so Ill take what I can get lol)

My end goal, is to have two wireless networks, one with the 5GHz band range (which will be run using the Motorola Surfboard modem/router), and one with the 2.4GHz band range (with the Linksys WRT54GS).

First off, is this even possible? And if so, how do I go about doing it?

Thanks in advance!

you should look for router after router setup
if your motorola ip is 192.168.1.1
set your linksys to 192.168.2.1
