Ping is at 65, what can we do?

Did you try that when connecting direct to the cable modem ? And which speedtest server ?

And what speedtest servers are you using?

I haven't tried it directly to the modem, but have directly to router. Using speedtest.net and Kingston server

Try Toronto server: toronto.speedtest.net

That is the closest to Start.ca backbone(uplinks).

Using Toronto server and Teksavvy's tester, I still get 38 ping

Unless you connect directly to the modem it's going to be hard to diagnose your speed issues as its a good chance your problem lies in your router.

Ok let me try directly to modem.

My router is a RT-N66U with the Asus Firmware

You should be pinging 18 ms or so to the Toronto Speedtest.net test servers from Kingston. Even that is not ideal but it is certainly better than what you are reporting.

I get good ping @ Toronto but slow d/l speeds... I am with 18/0.5 package..
