The turbo plan is only 20mbps download so it probably won't make any difference swapping it out.

Just because the 6141 is capable of bonding 8 downstream channels, chances are it wouldn't be necessary with that plan's limited speed.

Bonding 8 downstream channels has little to do with any limitations in speed. It's about "consistency" & less congestion.
