15/5 is advertised like that however real speeds are 25/5

Same issue my friend had with her comcast service once she lost power in Red Bank she was ok but once she got her power back she had 3 days with no service. Thanks to Her Iphone 5 in Verizon she could at least check the net and do some light work. Too bad for her that her landlord will not allow Fios. Which she wants so bad.(her Parents home has Fios in New England )

Why am I switching? Because when Sandy hit my area my internet was down for 11 days straight while all my neighbors with Fios had no issues. My area was down for a week but for some reason my house was down for another 4 days more. Thank god I have Direct TV. DTV had no issues either. Then this past Friday Comcast went down again for another 2 days. A tech came to house on Sunday and fixed it. Said wiring was all mess up from water damage.

Pretty broad statement there....while VZ does have decent routing - most ISP's now a days have vastly improved.

Xbox Live barely uses any bandwidth while playing games. When my FiOS service was down for several days I used a T-mobile hot spot. Gameplay with Moderne Warfare 3 was the same as over FiOS and I barely used any data. I was very surprised.

If all you're doing is playing Xbox Live and playing YouTube videos, you are fine. Hell, you can stream 2 HD movies from Netflix on separate TVs at the same time as well as watching TV shows on hulu on your tablet with this speed tier and be fine.
