[CATV] DVR service and another HDTV-Louisville, KY

I am thinking about getting a new LED HDTV 32-inch for a bedroom and I have a 46-inch LCD HDTV in the Living room on a Motorola DCH6416 so I will need another box for the new TV in the bedroom. I think Insight doesn't carry a standalone HD Receiver box without DVR. My options are either get another DVR/HD box for the bedroom or go with the Multiroom DVR with the larger hard drive and recordings linked together from box to box etc.

I know to get the Multiroom DVR, they would have to run a lan cable from the main pace box from the living room at the end of the house to the other pace receiver and then setup splitters when I can just pick up another DVR/HD box at Insight. I just want to know what would be a good way to go about this. If anyone has made this decision before, I would like to know what would be the cheapest way regarding the rent on the boxes and the Multiroom DVR service plus the DVR/HD attached to the bill already.

Get another standalone DVR and skip the multiroom DVR. Multiroom has not worked well for us. We have to reset the storage unit almost daily.

If you go multiroom, the two boxes connect by the cables in the house. The storage unit connects to one DVR by a lan cable. I can take a picture and attach it later if I get the time.

There is also a 10 dollar monthly fee for the Multiroom service. 5 dollars a month for a non multiroom DVR. 7 dollars a month for each extra DVR also. You might get a pace DVR instead of a Motorola.

Another option is to not use a box at all. The built in tuner of the TV should get all the local channels in HD but not the extra channels(ESPN, Discovery, etc). You would have to run a channel scan to get the channels.
