[Rant] download and install abode flash browser issue

I find it annoying that one has to download and install abode flash for each web browser that one has.

Why oh why can't they make it possible to download only once and then the program checks for all of the web browsers that it supports that the user has on their computer and then prompt the user to install/update flash for those programs.

Go to Ninite.com and download a combined Flash and Flash IE installer. Run that to update both with no crapware included.

So I've used Netscape before...back in the day. Never knew about Netscape 3 Gold. I did some reading. Why does it seem that AOL would buy a whole bunch of internet companies like Netscape and WinAmp and then beat the living daylights out of them if they were so successful or gaining traction? AOL has probably been the single most anti-entrepreneur and idea blocker since the beginning of the internet. Always trying to force AOL ads and start up disks down possible consumers and patrons throats.

AOL = stay away. They should buy Yahoo.
