| [TWC] No D3 Modem for YOU! Called TWC tech support because since I'm req'd to have a Docsis 3 modem for my Turbo level tier, and now am forced to pay lease fee for my old Doc 2 Moto SB5100 modem. They told me to go into my local office to exchange it for a Doc3 modem and verified that my local office had them. Guess what? Went there, and they took my 5100 and gave me a SB5101 (DOCSIS 2) modem! They told me I could only get a D3 modem if I paid extra a month, on top of the lease fee for WiFi. Beautiful. |
