[Lore] Klaxxi, sha, spoilers, speculation

if you're not exalted with klaxxi yet this is a spoiler.

Ok so the Klaxxi worshiped an Old God (you know like c'thurn and yog.)

and they say if he comes back they will worship and follow him again.

and that what we see haunting this land is his final act.
Maybe someone can get the exact text from a site.

so on to speculation.

The old god will come back in a later tier.

The old god created all of the sha.

how many sha are there? I mean boss like sha (like the sha of anger, the last boss in jade serp, the boss in ToES)

if there are 7 then maybe that will fit.

and I think as the horde/ally war grows the anger, hate, despair, etc will grow till it brings back the old god.

also more speculation

the titans created the mist to hide the sha (aka remains of the old god) from the rest of azeroth so that it wouldn't be reawakened.

I found some quest text via WoWHead.

Kil'ruk the Wind-Reaver says: Wakener, your deeds have earned you the trust of the Klaxxi.
Kil'ruk the Wind-Reaver says: You are to be rewarded. Walk with me.
Kil'ruk the Wind-Reaver says: We mantid are an elder race. The pandaren you associate with - they are but children. They have their role to play.
Kil'ruk the Wind-Reaver says: Each cycle, our young swarm their walls. The pandaren slay the weak. The strong return.
Kil'ruk the Wind-Reaver says: With each generation, we grow ever stronger.
Kil'ruk the Wind-Reaver says: Before your history began, our empire was vast. We shared this world with our sister kingdoms, Ahn'Qiraj and Azjol-Nerub.
Kil'ruk the Wind-Reaver says: Our Gods were many, and powerful. We mantid worshipped the seven heads of Y'shaarj.
Kil'ruk the Wind-Reaver says: Great was the Old One, and terrible was His wrath. He consumed hope and begat despair; He inhaled courage and breathed fear.
Kil'ruk the Wind-Reaver says: When the usurpers came - the ones you call "Titans" - Y'shaarj was destroyed.
Kil'ruk the Wind-Reaver says: His last terrible breath has haunted this land ever since, but the shadows he left behind are mere whispers of his former glory.
Kil'ruk the Wind-Reaver says: I tell you now, because you have earned this warning.
Kil'ruk the Wind-Reaver says: Your gods are not your gods, outsider.
Kil'ruk the Wind-Reaver says: If the Old Ones ever return, we mantid will once again stand by their side.
Kil'ruk the Wind-Reaver says: The wisest among you will do the same.

I'm thinking the "shadows left behind" are the sha.

and Y'shaarj will be a raid boss.

Now are there 7 sha boss mobs?

if so maybe they're like his 7 heads.

Isn't there the sha of Hate in ToES?

and there's a sha in the wilds called the source of despair, ok the despair one isn't really a boss but I'd say its above the common sha.

Just need Despair, Hopelessness, Destruction.

maybe Garrosh is possessed by the Sha of Destruction. He'll be the last normal mode raid boss... with the Heroic extra (like Algalon, or Sinestra) encounter being Y'shaarj?

oh wait... Sha of Despair was a quest mob in Krasarong Wilds.
There is also a Sha of Hatred in Shado-Pan Monestary.

Or maybe he'll be after the 7th sha and be possessed by Y'shaarj.

that could also work out well, lore-wise.

I figure his anger and blood lust will be enough that he'll be the reason Y'shaarj comes back.

So like, this Old God just didn't like anything? Why did anything worship them? Why are the titans gone? There should be a battle of old gods and titans again....in outland or course. I really wanna see this Sargeras though. What is he again? leader of the Legion?

Who is the most powerful villain/god in WoW lore? I'm not a lore seeker or buff by any means but now i'm a little curious.

Sargeras is a titan that went rogue.

He became corrupted by the evil he saw (the burning Legion) and went mad.

There are other titans hunting for him.

The titans (afaik) are off world shaping other worlds

though in the DS RP I wonder do they mean the titans had come back briefly? (you know when the aspects are talking before the ultra fight.)

were the aspects able to contact the titans, ie how kelo became an aspect?

As to why.

The old gods were powerful and they had their elemental lords to help cause chaos, maddness, and what ever they wanted.

In the titan's reshaping of azeroth they weren't able to fully kill the old gods without destroying the planet so they locked them away deep in the planet where they in time managed to whisper to deathwing driving him mad.

hay if a being is able to drive you insane just by seeing it just imagine what it can do when it was at the hight of its power.

Just think of the things Yog and c'thurn say.

The Old gods were malevolent super-beings. The Titans are stronger beings who traveled to worlds in Chaos with the sole purpose of establishing "order" on them. They defeated some and imprisoned others (Ulduar was a prison), and left beacons and "protocols" in place to correct any imperfections... they also created the dragon aspects to prevent the destruction of Azeroth (which implies they foresaw the meddling of the Old gods would eventually return).

Sargeras was once a Champion of the Titan Pantheon (the dudes who create/fix worlds)... He was placed in charge of fighting the demons of the Twisting nether because they sought to dismantle the Titan's vision for the universe... in his struggle against the demons... he sank into despair... and eventually lost hope not only in his mission but in the Titan's vision for the universe. He now leads the Legion to undo all of the Titan's meddling in the universe, because he blames their activities for all that is wrong in the Universe.

Just think, Harbinger will be the final boss in WoW.

Y'shaarj was killed by a titan. It's death is the reason the sha exist. I don't think it will be a raid boss. Wow Insider's Know Your Lore sections has some pretty good write-ups and speculation about all this but I can't get to it at work.

The klaxxi seem to think Y'shaarj will come back some day.

and so far none of the other old gods have been truely killed, mearly their physical forms destroyed and left greatly weakened.

You only killed their Physical form.

And you can kill them again every week. (likely the only raid bosses where re-killing them fits lore.)

the ones out in the world often make sense.

Pigs, they had more infant pigs.
DMF injured, they got hurt again.

but the two old gods respawning actually fits the lore.
