But it doesn't tell them why its offline. <br> </p></div>They certainly have logs of the DHCP requests/renewals and might have logs on each CMTS of activity for debugging but I suspect that they do not have a centralized database of which device was online and offline at a specific time. I guess it is possible they do have logs of every device but I'm not sure what the purpose of it would be on a normal basis. If they do then it would be simple to give rebates to anyone who was offline but without a centralized log of when devices were online and for how long etc it would be a large amount of work even if there are logs on the CMTS.<br><small>--<br>Warning, If you post nonsense and use misinformation and are here to argue based on those methods, you will be put on ignore.</small>]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[mbernste posted : Since I know many here do not have the <a href="www.optonline.net">Optimum Network</a> as your home page, you might not realize that you can submit your credit request for any outage you experienced due to Hurricane Sandy online.  There's no need to call them.  Just go to the home page, select the "submit a credit request" chevron then click where it says "click here."  Fill in the start and end dates of your outage and submit the request.  It couldn't be easier.]]></description>
