Re: Connection issues with Century Link

This company is the WORST. Spoke with helpdesk again on Tuesday after receiving no call back after reporting the issue 2 weeks prior. They apologize and determine there is in fact something wrong with the lines and a technician will be out on Thursday.

The tech comes out and speaks to my wife as I'm at the office. She not being technical just listens and relays his results. The guy didn't even troubleshoot the dropping issues. All he had to offer was "you're far from the main office so that will effect your bandwidth". BW is the least of my concerns...a stable connection is all I want at the moment. So I call the helpdesk and they determine that the technician didn't make any changes and the problems still exist. So tomorrow they're sending out another technician.

At this point I don't think they have any idea what the problem is or how to resolve it. It's been going on for well over a month and shows no signs of change. Fortunately I'll be done with this ISP in less than a month.
