FYI - Different ISP but my IP hasn't changed in over 1yr, actually like 18 months. ISPs tag your IP address to your MAC address of your connected device to the modem. As long as it's constant and they haven't done any network splits and such to their own network, it will always be the same.

What had me ever MORE surprised is after Sandy, we had a 6 days power outage and when my modem came back online I plugged in my laptop to test out a few things and got an IP. Plugged in my router (same since Jan 2011) and rebooted the modem and got the SAME IP even after days without power!! I figured my IP address would have been gone by now since other people had power and the DHCP lease was only 2 days.
