Re: [Voip.ms] is voip.ms clueless about porting cell numbers?

I agree with what MartinM and suppafly/Peter (both of Voip.MS) have written....

My ports and business dealings with Voip.MS have always been honest, fair, and efficient, even if I disagree on some other things.

------------------

Wireless LNP refers to moving from one wireless carrier to another. But Voip.MS is [not] a wireless carrier so the situation does not even apply.

There are many wireless carriers (prepaid and/or postpaid) and even more CLEC's and VoIP providers.

You never know in advance what the original company is going to need or want when actually presented with a porting request, so it is good to be prepared.

In addition, as a company based in Canada they may have some different experiences because of that, and certainly a different regulatory environment.
