[TWC] diagnosing intermittent internet connection issues?

I've been having intermittent internet connection issues and am struggling to diagnose them. TWC has been responsive, sending a tech out, changing out the modem, running a new line to the house, etc - but the problem persists. Given that the problem is intermittent, it never occurs while a tech is out.

I'm on the 30/5 'extreme' package using a TWC issued SB6580 modem/router. On occasion, the modem will lose connection with the 'head' and reboot. Sometimes this occurs multiple times a hour, sometimes I can go days without issue. I can't see any rhyme or reason for it.

When the modem goes down, it usually logs a series of T3 and T4 timeouts. A sample of the last couple of days is posted below.

What's the best way to diagnose this? I really want to stick with cable internet as my other option is Uverse, and I really dislike the 2-wire products they force you to buy.
