Back up in Ottawa, "Reset All Defaults" seems to do the trick. speed is lower than normal.

Just came home... I only experienced the tail end of the outtage here on Scarlett / South Etob. Came back up just a minute ago without power cycling.

Back up on McNicoll as well about 5 minutes ago. Came back up by itself. Any idea what the issue was?

(1) Subspace interference.

(2) The Dark Side of the force briefly had the upper hand.

(3) Timmies did another price hike.

(4) Mister Rogers rolled over in his grave at some of the BS going on in this industry.

(5) The GRINCH tried to steal the Internet this year - sequel book and movie R 2 B released soon.

power cycles did not fix it - it was Rogers Core network outage.

Just tried an unprovisioned DCM425 and it synced up right away. Of course it is stuck in Rogers walled garden, but whatever the real issue is, it is only effecting modems that have been provisioned (possibly provisioned on TPIA?).

Definitely effecting other TPIA, here's a post in Acanac's forum:
»community.acanac.com/acanac/view···&t=23452

And I've heard from a Start customer as well...

Still down here in Ottawa (Hunt Club). Pretty annoying. Is there any estimate regarding how long this is going to take?

Was down for about 90 minutes this afternoon, starting around 2:20 PM or so in Brampton. Just came back up. Kept getting DCHP Failed errors in the modem log. Was already concerned that it might last for days, based on past horror stories . . .

Re: [OUTAGE REPORT] - 11/09/12 16H25

updated main post with the following:

Rogers issue appears to be resolved, we have had quite a few reports of customers who are now back online. At this time we ask that you perform a 3 minute power cycle on your modem and if you are still offline please post here: »TekSavvy Direct so that we can get the required information to open a ticket for you.

Thank you,
Keith

It was back in Scarborough when I got home from work.

No power cycle was necessary, and there was nothing abnormal in the modem log. I suppose the issue was further down the land in Rogers land.
