Aranarth posted : Turns out that even though this is a brand new install in Stanwood, mi, that channel bonding is not available. I suspect the limitation is actually company policy since I can only connect at 3mb's rather than the actual dslams themselves since the modem is reporting an ADSL2+ connection. I'm pretty sure that all ADSL2 dslams can do channel bonding. No worries, I'll just use the load balancing multi-wan router noted above.

anon posted : I'm in the town of Yale and I tried to sign up for the bonded service and they said that it was available and gave me an istallation date but nobody ever showed. When I called again I was told that there weren't any available ports for the service. I was able though to go up from the 3Mbps plan to the 7Mbps plan. The cost was $31 for the 3Mbps service and went up to $39.99 for the 7Mbps. I was able to keep my westell modem for the 7Mbps speed but they will need to send me another modem if I upgrade when/if more ports become available at a cost of $49.99 for the 12-15Mbps service (fastest available where I'm at) as quoted to me.
