Cisco 881W AP password recovery

HI All,

I am playing around with the cisco881W wireless router. I have an issue where I had to erase the startup config from the rfouter and start over. However I am not able to get into the enable mode on the AP. It is asking me for a password and I dont know what it is.

I have tried the following from the router:

service-module wlan-ap 0 reset default-config
service-module wlan-ap 0 reset

and when the AP comes back up I get this

ap>
ap>en
Password:
Password:
Password:
% Bad secrets

Any thoughts?

The 881 considers the AP as a seperate device? I would've thought it was "integrated" into the CLI...

Then again, I don't own one to see what it's like.

Regards

It considers it a seperate device, You would think it would be all under one CLI..

For some reason, Cisco decided to have separate IOS image between the AP and the router for 880 wireless router model unlike the older model.
