Re: Steam for linux: Beta on Ubuntu 12.04 Oh distro. As mentioned elsewhere, Debian is all I know how to run. I don't like ubuntu, but I do like it as a live cd when I screw something up and need to chroot.

| It's still very rough around the edges, although most people have posted good results... if anyone can get it running on Debian I'm sure you'd be it.

Just a FYI: I was given an invite this week as well, after reading the steam boards people have the beta running on Debian well as Fedora.
I had a bit of a time getting Killing Floor running, after using the scripts to install the video driver from Ubuntu Extreme web site I am running full resolution openGL. |
