VMware Fusion question

Does anyone know if a VM created under Fusion is 'transportable' to VMware running on a different platform?

Should be.
I've moved my Windows 7 VM (made with Fusion on my Mac) to Windows/Linux hosts with no problem.

COOOL - thanks

My last physical windoz box is about to bite the dust.

I am going to clone it into my Imac VMware fusion, upgrade the old box with Ubuntu, install vmware player and move the VM

One thing I noticed. When you move a Windows VM and you fire it up for the first time on the new host. VMWare/Fusion will ask if you moved or copied the VM. Choose moved, or else you will run into activation issues in your Windows VM.
