When I look at the bandwidth (I am logged in via RDP from work), as you had suggested, it shows me the interface speed of 10 Mbps and a utilization of 99% (I do have a gigabit network and interface at home) .<br><br>Not sure if this is the issue, but why would it show me a 10 Mbps interface? I am assuming this is something to do with RDP. <description><![CDATA[jandir posted : Speed test (speedtest.net) when logged in locally on PC or over remote desktop from another PC at home: 43/32 (I subscribe to 35/35).<br><br>When I log in over remote desktop from outside (work) and run the speed test on the same PC, I get 10/10. This is very consistent and extremely evident when running certain other software on the PC that indicate download speeds.<br><br>Sometimes I have to restart the router to get the higher speeds once i am back home.<br><br>What is going on? Traffic shaping?
