Apparent wide-spread outages... said by TSI Marc, in another galaxy... :WOW. So, I guess we know that Rogers got their copy of CNOC's letter to CRTC enforcement! "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve." |

Seems like it's not just us on Start having the issues. Rogers clients as far as Bowmaville, I'm in Scarborough, is having issues too. My buddy on Rogers in Bowmanville said his entire building went out because of the "new modems" according to Rogers. Their speed boost is causing them more headaches than they thought I guess. The transition to the new speeds aren't going too well for them I guess. I just hope we don't have to buy new modems again because Rogers is giving out new modems to get the new speeds according to Rogers. |

Looks like it didn't all come back at once. Mine JUST came back, since you posted this, in Ottawa. No power cycle required. |

Down in Ottawa since 2 PM ish. Frustrated because I couldn't get internet despite power cycling cable modem & router. Called Start a short while ago, then the line went back on about 2 minutes afterwards while speaking on the phone with support tech. It's OK now: ping: 42 ms Down: 14.20 Mbps Up: 0.49 Mbps |

Still down in Brantford. Been doing resets every hour or so. |

We still have some reports of pockets of areas in Brantford and Paris with issues. We've escalated it and they should have enough details, but if you want to call in and create a ticket we can submit on your behalf as well if you'd like. |

(4) Mister Rogers rolled over in his grave at some of the BS going on in this industry. (5) The GRINCH tried to steal the Internet this year - sequel book and movie R 2 B released soon. |

Are you testing it based on your speedtests? If so, can you do speedtests on different servers? |

yep, i tried different servers, same output.
It never goes higher then 32mbit.
I always get full speeds, but, for some reason speed boost doesn't work for me. |

In Cogeco, I'm getting » speedtest.net/result/231 ··· 4523.png Since I'm subscribed to advanced, not PRO, I would conclude there is a speedboost. |
