Re: [CenturyTel] Two DSL accounts questionYou should be able to do this. I am in the same boat. I have 2 DSL lines. 1 naked and 1 with bare minimum phone service. Both DSL lines should have phone numbers assigned to them on your billing statement. Just give them the phone number of the line you want to cancel.
I don't notice much speed difference between my two lines but I do notice one is a lot more reliable than the other. Both are connected straight to DSL modems with no other phones or devices in the house. We are cell / VOIP phone only... One modem looses synch and must be power cycled at least 3 times a week. The other line stays going for a month or two at a time without issue. |
