Can new Apple Minis support VGA 640 x 480?

I have a display that only works on VGA 640 x 480. Can the Apple Mini put that out? How? It does not show in the menu easily. It used to under Advanced in older Macs.

I believe, but can't back it up, that OS X went to a minimum of 800x600 resolution some time ago. You may be able to hack it in by editing a plist file somewhere, though.

You can probably search a dumpster and find a monitor with a higher resolution.

I just checked a headless brand new mini I have sitting in a server closet and the lowest it supports is 800x600

Tell me you are trying to connect a secondary display, like one of those 7" usb devices or touchscreens? And not buying a mac mini to use an ancient display on

Try this. Bidding starts at 99ยข but you'll probably need an adapter.

You could try SwitchResX utility to see if you can alter it to that low.
