Re: Crap cracked toilet!Get an American Standard Champion toilet, or another Kohler with at least 2-1/4" trapway. "With the industry's widest 2-3/8" trapway and 4" flush valve, the Champion PRO line achieves the highest bulk removal rating of 1,000 grams and will even flush a bucket of golf balls!" -- Sometimes it just FEELS like a bucket of golf balls. |

said by Warzau: Anyway long night of fussing over it and already looking at new toilets. Prob get same type, of course newer model. BTW it's a older Kohler Wellworth of course this particular model is discontinued. I looked into just buying the bowl. So it's a new one I have to get. Okay one piece or two piece? I really like the Kohler Cimarron line. Personally I would never get another one piece. They are too big and bulky to handle easily. Much easier to install a two piece as you can install the bowl and then the tank separately. |

Re: Crap, cracked toilet!I've had good luck with the Glacier Bay toilets from HD - the cheap dual flush ones that are usually around $100 or so.
They are two piece, easy to install and I rarely have any issues getting what needs to get down them down. The only issue I have is that my kids are too young to be centred on the seat, so when they go, they don't actually go in the water and it might take a few flushes to get it all down, just because the toilet is trying to wash the poo off the sides.
I have one in my house and two in a rental (two in basements altogether) and they perform better than a dual flush I own that I paid almost 3x as much for.
It all depends on your budget, but I find these ones good value and fairly easy to install. |

Did you receive training via Homer Simpson or Red Green? |

Did you receive training via Homer Simpson or Red Green? There was no pressure at the top of the bowl. It should have worked. And it did. The porciline cracked perfectly. Unless you looked in the back of the bowl. Hey I never told my wife! She never knew. She thought she knew everything too. But I knew. |
