11/12 – Lancaster (Includes Reading & Lebanon)

11/12 – York
11/19 – Scranton (Includes Williamsport)
11/19 – State College
11/19 – Blairsville

On the Comcast/Harrisburg system, I happened to notice that Bloomberg HD is (I think) 1116 - regardless, first channel I've seen on the system in the 1000's. Does this mean more HD channels to be added, or are they relocating to the 1000's? |

In this area, we started seeing some new HD channels in the 1000s when our existing HD channels were recently moved from the 200s to the 800s »New NJ August 2012 Comcast lineups full list
I think the "newer" HD channels that are added to Comcast's system are now placed in the 1000s so that they follow their "Master Channel Lineup" (MCLU) scheme: »Standardized cable lineups coming soon and »Master Channel Line Up
Right now we have about 18 HD channels in the 1000s. Here are the first few:
1216 Bloomberg TV HD
1217 C-SPAN HD
1218 News 12 NJ HD
1225 BBC America HD
1262 Nat Geo Wild HD
1265 Smithsonian HD
1316 TV Guide Network HD
Not sure why the transition from the old, local-varying channel schemes to the MCLU one is taking so long, but it could be due to some issues with older cable boxes: »[STB] channels in 1000's cause box reboot |
