usa2k  has graciously agreed to host CE 314 for which I am very appreciative. 
I had to do an unexpected drive to-and-from WV yesterday to pick up my nephew from college when his ride back fell through; his mom is the one with the shore house and today is the first day she is going to be able to finally physically get to see what the damage is to it, and to mitigate what she can and to winterize what's there to winterize. They're being allowed on the barrier island starting at 7am and we've been hearing reports that it's been taking hours to get through the various checkpoints to get on the island, so she and the rest of the family were going down hours in advance of that in order to get in line, and maximize their time there because the last I heard, everyone is supposed to be off the island by 3pm. I didn't get back home until around 2am so there was no way the rest of them could have gone for him. Chalk up a gold star for me in the "Good Aunt" category - LOL.
