if Firefall was actually an mmorpg it would be quite awesome the way the play control is... would be running around swinging axes and shit

FYI...

FIREFALL there is clipping for player characters. when you run into another player or npc, you actually do bump into them.

also, after you kill a mob, you can actually push it around... lol

I was scared of those dinosaur things when I first saw it.

i faught some giant elefant that was throwing massive bolders at me!

good thing i had my trusty vulcan canon to show him whose boss of the jungles!

gonna get my shotgun tonite, so i can deal some up close and personal IN-YOUR-FACE damage!

Been playing in the Beta weekends since last weekend. Enjoying this game a good amount. Very good potential. Still some polishing and optimizing to come and that will only make it that much more enjoyable. It can be very confusing as far as where to go after you have no quests and the tier system and battlesuit garage could be a little more user friendly.

like I said in the WoW forums, I think this game is going to be huge, because it's an easy transition for WoWers, very similar

and it's supposed to end up having massive raids like WoW too... this IS the next big thing IMO...

GW2 will always be my #1 main game for me, but I can see Firefall attracting more people in general since its F2P and toony similar to WoW

Any patches lately? Some areas were still to buggy for me.

the last time I played it, it had a massive patch, and required a full redownload... like 3+gigs... thats why i havent touched it in weeks.

with time off, ill be able to get back into it again... not sure what was fixed... i still think the game haslike 10+months left until release

After tomorrow I'm off until the 2nd, I hope to get into this as well. I'm in the permanent beta (thanks VV) but have barely played so far.

Just patched this past Monday. Frame constraints have been removed while they work on pve vs pvp balance. Not sure what bugs you refer to, and I've run across quite a few myself, none that affect my game play. For beta it feels pretty solid to me. If anyone wants to get together in game for thumping, chosen hunting, etc. let me know.
