Sveakul posted : Thanks for the update MC-Chad, and hey it looks like we're Back in Black here again :) My sustained download speeds with DOCSIS-3 and 4 channel bonding have returned to normal (16.2 Mbs), and the failure to load/slowness on various web sites has disappeared. Interestingly, my modem signal levels have also improved on all fronts. I don't online game so can't speak as to ping, but how you other guys in Mtn. Iron, Aurora, and Hoyt Lakes doing? MC-Chad tell them to hold that dial right there, haha! Can you tell us what they fixed exactly--just interested?? They were very odd symptoms. Here's hoping this is solved permanently. Thank you again for getting involved.

Sveakul posted : Same problems today, some sites will just freeze (like the MC support site), others will load, others s-l-o-w. So not just a uniform "speed" issue but like a routing issue, and changing to Open DNS from MC DNS does not fix so not DNS related.
Sveakul posted : MC-Chad, I IM'd you my account #, thanks for asking. Like Yolo2die, I get messages like this in my modem log: "TLV-11 - unrecognized OID;CM-". About a week ago there was a confirmed outage in this node (Iron in the west to Hoyt Lakes in the east) for about 8 hours. When that problem ended the next day, all was fine for a few days, then the last 3 (now 4) days we have all seen this issue with the Internet dropping in and out although the modem stays in sync. Slow down, then total halt for a couple of minutes, back on for several more before the next incident. No problem with modem S/N, downstream or upstream levels. Please let us know what you find out. I was told this area was just upgraded for 50 Mbs at the end of October; also there is a lot of fiber digging in this area due to the NESC Middle Mile Fiber Project.
