Re: Best ADSL2+ Modem

I have the same setup at home(pfsense and bridged modem) but I use the Speedstream 4300 modem. No issues. You can get one cheap on craigslist or ebay

I found a TP-Link TD-8616 cheap on eBay, no bids and ~18 hours left. Now to wait for the auction to end and hope I win it.

make sure it supports ADSL2+ bonding and VDSL2...Windstream is SUPPOSEDLY increasing their speeds soon and upgrading DSLAMS

Well, they just recently upgraded from VDSL to ADSL2+ in my area (because of me) so I doubt I'll see ADSL2+ Bonding before I move. I just want something better than the F@ST 1704 and the TP-Link TD-8616 is inexpensive (don't know if I'll have DSL or Cable when I move).
