Me and my wife we using same cable/router combo. we are about 5feet away from it. her computer gets around 60-70MB /sec and I get only 10MB/sec.Sometimes my speed drops down to 2MB/sec.
How can I find out what causes this with out formatting my computer Can Anyone help please ??

what type of wireless cards do you have? If one is an 802.11G radio, and the other is an 802.11N radio, they router may not treat them fairly.
Try switching them both to G or N if they're capable. (or turning one off completely, and running the speed test after rebooting the router).
