Unless it has changed since the time I got my IPV6 account created, TSI's IPV6 implementation is static anyhow.

If you want a static public IPv6 address for a particular device, simply configure it with an address within the netblock TSI assigned to you.

And the other side of the coin... is it possible to get dynamic IP /64's (or is it /56's) on IPV6? Otherwise, trackers won't need cookies, etc. They'll know that a certain address block is always the same household.

As far as I know, TSI gives you a static /64 or /56 block. If you're *that* concerned with web sites being able to track you, you shouldn't rely on dynamic IP addresses anymore than static IP addresses. You should use a proxy that completely hides your IP address, whether it's static or not.

There's a thread somewhere in the Teksavvy forum with a massive argument about this... let's try not to duplicate it.

Edit: link for your curiosity --> »Will Teksavvy IPV6 be static prefix or dynamic prefix?
