At least you were an 11B first (or whatever Army designation is the equivalent). You have the training, and the background. It makes a world of difference, and you can appreciate how quickly the troops just want to get out of S1 when they come back from a deployment or activation.

You don't need to waste their time or give them speeches. Have all the copies of paperwork ready, the places they initial/sign already highlighted, and get them in/out as quick as possible.

That was the best Admin Chief I've seen. the worst ones are the ones who think they can teach the grunts something by wasting their time and pontificating.

Yea, I was Cav Scout, but I got laid off from civilian employment so I applied for an AGR position. Had to change from badass to POG. Sad day.

You and I both know that will not happen. He will retire with honors like the rest of the higher ups. If he was a SFC or lower, he would be retiring as a E-4 or below. And I was talking about Sav, not the four star.

Right before my deployment, our BC (LTC type) got a DUI. Not just a DUI, but ran into another car, tore the tire off of his wheel and continued to drive home. He was yanked from the BC position, given a job else where, and was just recently promoted to COL and now is the commander of the echeleon above us. DOUBLE STANDARD MUCH!!?!?
