Bears going to San Fran! Game of the week!

Blowout of the Week? Eagles (sans Vick) going to Washington

So...Jason Campell vs. Kapernick kid is game of the week?

Vick is probably not suiting up this week either.

All of the pundits around here are noting how Kapeornick ran all over the Rams and wondering if this is the week that Tebow is turned loose. If the Jets are behind in the second half and Sanchez is laying another stinkbomb, Ryan really has nothing to lose. Since the Jets owner is a Tebow fan, it might even save Ryan's job. Sanchez will curl into a little ball of depression but I'm not sure that's any worse than his current level of play.

Tebow isn't getting off the bench. He's a sideshow that nobody trusts with the ball. Strangely though, he wins games.

He reminds me of Doug Flutie in a way. Tebow should go to the CFL, win a few Grey Cups and then beat down the NFL doors.

Its the Packers.

I think I'll avoid the TV for the first half and just check the score. Man the lions have failed so hard this year. Madden curse!

I am looking forward to the first Steeler/Raven game. Granted I wish Ben were healthy for it (along with all the other injured Pitt/Balt players). I don't expect the ravens to go easy on us and I believe it will be a physical game again. Probably come down to whether the Pitt O-line can protect leftwich long enough for his wind-up. That guy can still launch that ball pretty far.

The one in 3 weeks will be much more telling.

Personally I expect the Raven to crush hard here with Ben and Troy out.

Is it even *remotely* possible the Jets can beat the Rams this week?
Oops...nope. (They're playing in St. Louis).

Fishers got these boys playing competitive football. I would expect a loss.

Sadly, I'm inclined to agree with you.

Tebow is nothing like Doug Flutie. He's bigger and stronger but he can't pass. Flutie could do it all runn, pass and improvise. The only knock against him is he's considered short for an NFL QB. however the Seahawks Rookie QB is doing pretty damm good.

As for the CFL, with its larger field, ours is a passing league. A QB, like Tebow, with his inaccurate passing, would not even make the team. He would ruin his image by coming here.

Blowout of the week: Baltimore over Pittsburgh.
A couple of years ago the Steeler did well without Ben. But now with no Ben, Polomalu and a not so dominant defense I am skeptical.
Why isn't Charlie Batch playing? Byron Leftwitch has a long exaggerated throwing motion, not mobile in the pocket and cannot improvise. Batch is a better backup. PLUS the Ravens have the self named Elite QB.

My upset pick is Colts over Patriots.

THE BATCH!

lol

Lions fans laugh so hard everytime he plays for Pit. SRSLY he moved to a backup position and some how found talent. He was soo bad in D town.

Bryon throws like Tebow except without all the cool stuff like mobility. Its ugly.

Tonight's game should go a long way towards deciding third place in the AFC East.

The Eagles are finally meeting a team that will make them look good.

I don't think any team can make the Eagles look good this year. I hope Eagles keep losing streak alive - may make sure Reid is gone for good at season end.

Rants, Raves, and ..

The last 2 years the Redskins have tanked mid-year under Shanahan. They went into the bye on a losing streak, and they'll likely come out of the bye and extend it. Add to that their horrendous pass defense, and their history of making rookie QB's look like Y. A. Tittle --- that's why I think they'll lose to the Eagles.

On the other hand the Eagles do suck as you mentioned.

Who will lose?????
