Google already bought Motorola. I wouldn't be surprised to see them go after the result of the T-Mobile/MetroPCS merger.

Google getting into the cellular market would be very good for consumers. I think of Google as being more of a political agenda than a company -- making money is just something they do on the side. Look at what Google did to influence the wireless spectrum auction.

Google has the financial backbone to do what T-Mobile can't do on its own. I would like to see Google do to the wireless industry to what they're doing to the broadband market in Kansas City. Break down the barriers of innovation and force companies to be more consumer friendly.
