What I don't get is why I'm still on 7 and you are at 10 up.

Torrents are muliththreaded... So are most speedtests...

Heck i just downloaded the XP SP3 pack, and got around 900KB/sec on a single threaded download in firefox... then i used a download manager with 8 threads and presto full speed...

Honestly, I think the test is inaccurate. I got:

but just 15 mins earlier I was getting maxed out (2.5Mbps) downloads on a torrent.

I've had this ever since having VDSL in march... Not as bad as crazypants', but its been consistantly below full speeds during peak hours...

As usual Speedtest.net tests are multithreaded and mask the results... but the old Java tests are accurate, but teksavvy doesnt have a java test anymore so Caneris is the only reliable one left.

Edit: I think I found the thread you mentioned, it's mine... Have to disregard a bit of it, as I had issues with the modem firmware being wrong for the remote, but after that was resolved the congestion factor didnt get any better.

There was an old thread was that started way back in April 2012, that discussed the congestion issues on AGAS.

It disappeared. But, since that time I've had terrible speedtests and tracerts during peak times.

I've been in constant discussions with TSI staff for about 6 month. They mentioned that no one else has complained about slow speeds nor does Bell admit on their end that there is a capacity issue.
Is there anyone out there experiencing congestion?
