Depends how it rings. Does it ring normally, with several rings until you answer or just once ?
It could be the MWI Ring Splash (you can find it in the User 1 / User 2 tabs). Or if you have port 5060 open in your router and forwarded to the ATA, it could be one of those hack attempts where they keep probing ports and extensions.

If SIP Port is set to 5060, change it to something else, e.g. 5070. If you had to forward port 5060 to the ATA, forward the new port instead.
