<description><![CDATA[Sileny Jizda posted : If you would actually read my above post you would find that I did call the useless phone tech support. After the they eventually 'determined our modem was bad' they tried to push us to get another one without informing it would in fact be an overpriced leased modem. Once they were called out on that they eventually, after much hesitation, admitted it would be a leased modem instead of an owned modem as we have now. After that they scheduled a tech to come out only to have them show up, ring the bell, then run like hell before we answered the door. We did the same thing, same timing to only find that he did in fact simply ring the bell and left without waiting so much for anyone to answer the door.<br><br>They sent someone else today since the fist guy couldn't manage to show up and do his job. the only thing is the issue seems to have resolved itself, it was not in fact our modem, and the problem was on the end of Centurylink despite the objection and certainty of the oh so not useful phone tech.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[Sileny Jizda posted : Centurylink techs are about as helpful as the calling support. Apparently, they like to play ding dong ditch when they do their appointments. We just had one ring our doorbell ONCE, wait all of 5 seconds, then drive off like he was about to get his truck stolen. I know it was about 5 seconds on his wait because we were upstairs. It normally takes about that long to walk down and answer the door. When we got there no one was at the door and we saw him driving off. Keep this in mind also. It took him about as long as it took us to get to the door to fly the hell out of there.<br><br>Completely. Totally. Absolutely. Worthless. Centurylink. Should be your new roadside billboard slogan. Thanks for nothing. Considering all we use your phone/internet service for is the internet it looks like it is time to start looking for another provider.]]></description>
