 | Internet Service in Every Room But One The Internet service from the WOW router works fine in every room of my house--except my study. What can WOW do to fix this? |
|
 | I think a start would be to provide some more details.
Is the a wired or wireless connection?
If its wireless: How far is that room from the gateway? Is it on a different floor? Anything metal between the gateway and the study? |

|
 | It is on a separate floor, and in a room on the opposite side of the house (it's a half-double). It is a wireless connection. To my knowledge, there is no metal in the way (except for the structure of the building itself). |

| If the device is wireless, and you have another working device that is wireless, take that working wireless device up there to verify there are no signal issues. If that WiFi device works in the same area, check drivers, check to see you have correct IP info (IP, DNS, Gateway). Possibly the WiFi radio in that device up there is a bit weaker. Try taking that device closer to your WiFi Router and see if it connects. |

 | reply to trikerider If its a newer home you could have metal studs in the wall.
If you have a smartphone see if you can get an app that will check wifi signal strength. (for android "wifi analyiser").
The wifi in the gateway is not the strongest. |

 | reply to trikerider You could try a wifi extender. This is the one I use in my house and I've got good strength on all 3 floors:
