Yes but you can say the same thing about Chicago. I think most
teams (not the Pens) get better as the playoffs go on. Some just get
better than others. Who knows how the Leafs would be playing if

I agree. If Boston wins the next game this thing will be over in 5 or 6.

The Leafs took Boston to the 7th game and were leading before the
short but massive meltdown. So in my mind the Leafs gave the Bruins
the best competition of the playoffs.

With better goalkeeping and a belief in themselves the Leafs could go
a LONG ways next year.

Or, that close call woke the Bruins up and they stopped screwing around. That third period of game 7 is where they got serious and decided to win this thing. Yeah, the Leafs are better than most give them credit for, but this was a Bruins team that lollygagged into the playoffs going through the motions. The Bruins team playing right now is not the same team that played for the first 6 2/3 games of the first round.

Bickell has big to take on intense Chara. Its not difficult to get under skin of Chara as Habs have done it. Chara is not dirty player Like Cooke or Neil. If Chara did that then one player will be in Hospital each and every game.

Seattle only has the Mariners and Seahawks as pro franchises. If Glenn Healy is right and the Canucks were told that Seattle was off limits for their farm team, then that really does make it seem like the NHL is trying to engineer a move.

everyone can say what they want about Burke, but i don't think any of his moves buried the team in any way...sure, some didn't work out, but they only thing lost was a bit of cash, something the Leafs are flush with anyway.

I have some friends who were saying Boston is going to roll over Chicago the same way they did over Pittsburgh. Chicago is not Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh is no Chicago. Chicago has the speed, skill that Pitts has but they also have a better defence and more toughness.
