Re: [speed/latency] Spratic high pings hmmm, your line seems really odd, provided all those numbers are right. your snr (noise ratio) seems to indicate a problem, yet the power levels and even moreso, the single digit attenuation, seem to suggest otherwise.
i'm thinking you're experiencing congestion issues from an oversold router somewhere, and you need to be put on one that's not so clogged. as for how to do this, i would recommend posting in » Verizon Direct
as a side note, if it's available in your area, your line should be more than capable of doing 15Mbps down, and with fastpath too.
i will say to take what i say with a couple grains of salt, i rarely see someone with a line with as low of attenuation as your modem is saying you have. |
