UBNT nanostation - changing to WPA2-AES

I have a link up and I have security set to WPA-TKIP and I have been having some disconnecting issues, I read that I should change that to WPA2-AES

If I change this on the AP, will I loose connectivity to the client side of the bridge? Or will it use the same WPA password that is saved already?

Would like to change it now, but don't want to get dressed and drive out to fix it if I kill the link. ;P

Yes, you will lose the link. Change the far side first(this is true for firmware updates, etc) then the near side. The recommended encryption is WPA2-AES.
